Ahhh yes. The old, 'we need to let the government decide whether a person is of good character to have a gun' routine. Apparently N doesn't realize that this is the old racist roots of gun control angle.

You do realize, don't you N, that the people you and Mark characterize as anti-government wing nuts actually don't think the authorities should be doing ineffective security theater? Way to understand the viewpoints of those you 'disagree' with.
They aren't alone although those two are as ignorant as it gets. The tea party and any other group on the 'right' have been misrepresented maliciously to discredit them. Nyla see it here and elsewhere the media narrative being repeated even when shown as false. M and N don't and can't seem to learn anything that contradicts their self righteous ideology they have manufactured. It is much easier to ignore and obfuscate.
And of course you're racist if you point out that half of all firearms murders are committed by blacks, even though they're only 13% of the population. And, of course, most of those murdered by blacks are blacks, so if anybody needs to pay attention to the hashtag slogan #BlackLivesMatters, it's young, male blacks. But that's racist, too.
It never mattered how often people shot down their ridiculous strawman assertions, they'd repeat them a couple weeks later as if the entire previous exchange had been flushed down the memory hole. Too bad for little Marxie, his blog doesn't have a memory hole feature like his brain. Except that it was rarely worth the non-trivial effort of bringing up his own past, and eventually it was inconvenient enough to him that he effectively banned it.
BTW, GD, you'd better watch out. He's got a 2nd(!) private detective monitoring your comments. Supposedly. I suspect it's just more sock-puppetry on his part. But you should definitely be vewwy caweful what you say! He's hunting wabbits!

Hey Mark, cluebat time - You post political commentary in a public manner. You don't allow full rebuttal. My blog allows such. It simply cannot be a crime as political speech and it's REBUTTAL is protected speech.
