Wow. Hey doofus. Let's say you wrote a law that fined people if they didn't buy something. Let's say you softened that by giving certain select people money to offset the costs. Let's say you later threatened to take that money away.
Perhaps the representatives of THOSE people may - whether they agreed with your original law or not - need to represent the best interests of the people they represent by trying to keep that money so THEIR constituents aren't financially hurt by the STOOPID FOOKING LAW YOU PASSED TO BEGIN WITH.
